Privacy

Privacy policy for the early launch.

This policy explains what information Shipyourday collects during launch, how AI providers may process it, and what retention expectations apply to core product data.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to provide the product, including account details, authentication records, workspace content you create, and operational data that helps us keep the service reliable and secure.

Account and authentication data

When you request access or sign in, we may process your name, email address, sign-in events, and related authentication metadata so we can manage access, secure accounts, and support password recovery.

Workspace data

Shipyourday stores the workspace information you choose to add, such as projects, tasks, notes, relationship context, and planning data, so that your workspace remains available when you return.

AI processing and chat history

If you use AI-powered features, relevant prompts, workspace context, conversation history, and assistant memory may be processed by Google Gemini to generate responses. If a Gemini chat request fails and we need to retry it, the same chat request may be processed by OpenAI as a fallback provider for chat only. We may store chat history, summaries, and related usage records so the assistant can function, recover context, and help us investigate failures, abuse, and launch reliability.

Contact imports

If contact import features are enabled for your account, imported contact details and related sync metadata from sources such as Google Contacts may be processed and stored so those contacts can appear in your workspace. If a launch feature is not enabled, we do not process that data for your account.

Retention expectations

Chats, summaries, contact imports, and imported workspace data are generally kept until you delete them or your account is removed. AI working memory stored in Redis is kept with a rolling 30-day time-to-live from the most recent update. Raw transcription audio is processed during the request flow and is not stored as an uploaded file by the app, though derived text and usage records may persist when needed to operate the product.

How we use this information

We use collected information to operate the service, provide support, protect accounts, maintain product quality, enforce usage limits, and monitor launch reliability. We do not sell your personal information.
